New adventures. Lifelong memories.Camp Xavier
Our summer full-day camp at Loyola High School welcomes current and former foster youth to discover their interests, build friendships, and simply enjoy being children.
In partnership with Loyola, high school students serve as counselors-in-training. With an almost one-to-one counselor-to-camper ratio, supportive adults and peers help each child build trust and a sense of community.
Research shows the normalizing experience of camp promotes development, reduces stigma, and leaves youth emotionally and socially stronger.
Ask about Camp Xavier“My children are having such a great time at the camp. They really look forward every day to be there… They have gone to other camps in the past, yet none have made such an impact on them… Thank you so much for taking care of our children.”Carlos S. · Foster/adoptive parent
Care that understands.
We support youth who have spent years in the child welfare system, experienced homelessness, performed below grade level, have an IEP or special education needs, demonstrated trust or attachment challenges, or have only recently experienced a stable home placement.
We recognize that the trauma of abuse, neglect, and removal from home can shape every aspect of development. All our staff and volunteers receive trauma-informed care training to support healing and growth.
